Im Workshop bei Roman Klonek soll der Holzschnitt kennengelernt und auf Din A3 Plakaten umgesetzt werden. Jeder Teilnehmer bekommt zwei Holzplatten, genügend Farbe und Werkzeuge zur Verfügung.
Da die Zeit knapp ist und zwei Tage für Entwürfe, Holzschnitt und Druck nicht ausreichen werden, sollt ihr uns zur Anmeldung einen Entwurf, den ihr umsetzen wollt, an illustrationfestival2011@gmail.com schicken.
Die Deadline hierfür ist der 08. Dezember 2012, 16:00 Uhr!
Das muss keine fertige Illustration sein, eine Idee oder Skizze reicht erstmal aus. Die Woche darauf habt ihr Zeit für die Ausarbeitung. Wir laden die Entwürfe dann gesammelt auf den Swaarm Fest Blog unter Holzschnitt Entwürfe hoch.
Diese werdet Ihr mit Roman Klonek online besprechen und, für den Holzschnitt passend, verbessern und !!!WICHTIG!!! zum Workshopstart am Samstag den 15. Dezember 2012 ausgedruckt mitbringen. Das Feedback von Roman Klonek bekommt Ihr als Kommentar zu euren Entwürfen unter euren Posts.

Under the guidance of Roman Klonek you'll learn how to create woodprints and capture your very own ideas on wooden plates. Those'll then be used to print the carved lines on paper in A3. Each participant will get two plates, a fair amount of colour and, of course, the tools needed to do the trick.
Considering that two days won't be enough to develop your ideas first and then start woodcarving, it is necessary to do this first step before the workshop begins, so please think of what you'd like to work on and send us your draft to the following address: illustrationfestival2011@gmail.com
Deadline: 8th of december, 2012 - 4 p.m.
You won't have to apply with a well-elaborated illustration, because you'll get the chance to work on your draft the week before the fun begins with the support of Roman, who will comment on your ideas, which will be uploaded in the subpage Holzschnitt Entwürfe.
Important: Please bring your printed references with you, because you'll need them when it comes to carving the woodblocks.
